My DNA and Genetics Testing Results

With genetics, we can take a real look under the hood. I will include all genome sequencing results and related results.

-Ancestry Results from 23andMe

I am 90% Middle Eastern. Sweet, thanks 23andMe!

-Results from Athletigen

Athletigen allows you to load your 23andMe raw data into their website, where they aggregate different genes from that data and present it with scores in different categories.

-Some Of My Good Genes

I used my 23andMe raw data and loaded it into another website called Promethease to get these results. Here are just a few interesting snippets of good genes I have.

-Some Of My Bad Genes

And here's some not-so-great ones. I am not sure how I am epicgenetically changing the expression of any of these genes, but it's interesting to look at.

-Some Genes of Interest

The APOE gene codes for proteins that are involved in the metabolism of cholesterol. They play a role in the development of cardiovascular disease and Alzheimer's disease. I have one APOE-ε3 allele and one APOE-ε4 allele, which isn't fantastic :).
